Ordering
The best way to order beef or lamb is to send us an e-mail and let us know what you want. We will promptly enter your request in our database system and send you a confirmation. Note that it never costs anything to reserve meat from Dunhill Ranch and you can change your reservation at any time.
Once your order is ready for delivery, we will send you an e-mail advising you of this and inquiring how you would like the meat delivered. We offer ranch pickup, farmers’ market pickup, and home/office delivery. Ranch pickup and farmers’ market pickup are the most economical.
Ranch Pickup
We love visitors at the ranch, and if you have the time when you pick up your order, we can show you around and introduce you to the critters. Ranch pickup costs you nothing, and the drive out to the ranch is full of great views. Please be sure, however, that you contact us before driving out to the ranch; sometimes we are out on the range, or in town doing errands.
Farmers’ Market Pickup
We sell our beef and lamb at the Albuquerque Downtown Growers’ Market and at the Socorro Farmers’ Market, but we do not attend all of the market days. Please contact us to make sure which market we will be at with your order. Farmers’ market pickup costs you no extra and the markets are a great place to pick up fresh vegetables and fruit for your dinner.
Home Delivery
Once your order is ready, we can deliver it to your home or office in many locations throughout central New Mexico. To be kinder to the environment and our vehicles, we try to deliver multiple orders in one trip. We can deliver from Datil to Magdalena, and from San Antonio (NM) to Santa Fe, including many locations near-by and in-between. We do not offer shipping but will work with you for special cases.
Our standard delivery charges are calculated as a percentage of the total order but we have a minimum delivery charge of $15. The percentage varies by destination:

- Local Delivery (Magdalena, Datil, Socorro, San Antonio) – 5% (if less than $15, will be the $15 minimum delivery charge)
- Albuquerque Area (Belen, Los Lunas, Albuquerque) – 10% (if less than $15, will be the $15 minimum delivery charge)
- Santa Fe Area (Santa Fe, Tesuque, Eldorado) – 15% (if less than $15, will be the $15 minimum delivery charge)
- Live Lamb Deliveries – Based on actual mileage.
- Live Steer Deliveries – Included in price.
- Half Steer Deliveries – Included in price.
We accept payment on delivery by cash or check.
